Our Policy & Terms of Service

Please read the following Terms of Service carefully before you agree to dog waste removal services from Pooper Troopers Cornwall.

TERMS OF SERVICE (Revised 2/19/2023)
Pooper Troopers Cornwall (“PTC”) is an independently owned and operated business (“us,” “we” or “our”) that provides pet waste removal services to residences, businesses and commercial properties. You agree to the following terms of service (“Terms”) that govern the sales and services provided by us (“Services”). By accepting the Services you hire us for, you are bound to these Terms.
The customer (“Customer”) understands and acknowledges that our ability to provide the Services can be dependent on weather, condition of grass height, access to their yard — which is their own responsibility, and other unknown outside influences.

DOG WASTE REMOVAL SERVICE
PTC offers residential and commercial pet waste removal services. These services include Seasonal Cleaning, One-Time Clean, Weekly Cleaning, Twice-a-week Cleaning, and Bi-Weekly Cleaning. All pricing is based on an area size of an 1/8th of an acre. Larger areas may have an additional fee.

ACCESSING YOUR YARD
The Customer understands that if PTC can’t access the area in need of cleaning due to locked/blocked/frozen gates and/or dogs in the yard; the scoop will be skipped and service fees will still apply. PTC suggests adding gate combinations or lock keys to your file to avoid locked gates. If the customer requests we return, a minimum $5.00 travel fee will be added to the customer’s invoice.

WEATHER
PTC will work through the rain and cold as long as we can safely do so. The customer understands that we cannot work through severe thunderstorms, high winds, extreme high or low temperatures, flooding or an accumulation of snow. PTC is a weekly subscription service that is billed on a monthly (every 4 weeks) basis. We do not offer refunds for missed weeks due to weather. Therefore in these cases, we will skip service for that week, and return the following week. A refund will not be issued as we still have to pick up all of the poop that would have been scooped the prior week. If you need the area cleaned before your next scheduled service, please call us and we will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee it. Additionally, we do not want to tear up your yard in any way. If it is really muddy, we may skip your yard and wait until the next scheduled visit when things have dried out.

HOLIDAYS
PTC does not provide services on the following holidays: Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, National Day for Truth & Reconciliation, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. If your scheduled pickup day falls on one of these days, we reserve the right to a) reschedule your pickup day for that given week, or b) skip service for that week and pick up the following week. There are no refunds for a skipped pickup, as we still have to do the work and pick up all of the poop from the week prior.

BILLING
PTC pre-bills on a monthly (4 week) basis for our service. Your account will be charged prior to the 1st service date of the month for service. If your card is declined, we will discontinue service immediately until the issue has been resolved. If more than 30 days have passed since
your last pickup, a first time (seasonal or one-time) pickup fee will be applied. We will only pause service for periods of 30 days. If service does not resume after the 30 day period, you will be removed from the schedule. A seasonal or one-time service fee will be billed after the service has been completed. Payment will be due within 24 hours. If payment becomes more than 30 days late, PTC will submit your account to collections.

LEAVES, DEBRIS AND TALL GRASS
We will always do our best to clean your yard as best we can. We understand that maintaining your yard is a lot of work and it may not always be in the best shape. The customer understands that it can be very difficult to find dog poop in tall grass or in a yard full of leaves or other debris. If your grass is tall when we come, there may be some dog waste that is missed. We will return on our next scheduled visit and will get anything that was missed if yard maintenance is complete. Should you find an excessive amount that we missed, please notify us ASAP at poopertrooperscornwall@gmail.com.

ADDITIONAL FEES
The following fees may also apply:

  • Cleaning/sanitizing dog waste from decks, patios and/or sidewalks ($5/visit).

  • Cleaning/sanitizing dog waste in rocky/pebbled areas ($3/visit).

  • Travel fee for return request ($5/visit).

PRIVACY POLICY
We may collect personal information from you on our Sites or through any other digital or personal communication with you. Information collected by us is voluntarily provided by you and may include information such as your name, email address, phone number,
and physical address. Our Sites may collect general information about the service you are requesting such as the type of property and area needing service, the type and number of pets you have, and general information about your pet’s behavior.

We collect information about you in order to provide you with our services. We use personal information about our users for a variety of purposes related to our business, your information is for PTC use only. We will never sell your information or send it to third parties.

We may provide user information to third-party service providers or vendors for purposes of, including without limitation, processing your payments or sending information to you, data tracking, maintenance or development of our System. We may also share your personal information in connection with law enforcement requests or in response to investigations, subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims or as otherwise required by law.

REVISIONS
PTC provides the above Services to you subject to the Terms, which may be amended from time to time without notice to you. Amendments will be effective upon our posting of such updated Terms to our website. We recommend you visit the Sites to review any changes in our practices. Your continued use of our Services shall constitute acceptance to any changes to the Terms. Some of the provisions contained in these terms of use may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our site.

SHUT DOWN
We reserve the right to shut down operations fully between Christmas and New Years Day. You will still be billed at your normal subscription rate unless you scoop your yard fully during our shut down period.

ADDITIONAL FEES
A late payment fee may be added to each bill that is late. Payment is due prior to the start of your next billing period. Billing is considered late if still due 48 hours later.
